by adminAh! the eyes, our window to the soul. Life is speaking to us within our biology. As we study this very eye we see two distinctly different things. On the outter edge we see a hue or spectrum of color. Full of patterns unique to the individual. All beings have these “windows” and like the trees no two beings have the same exact pattern. One thing we all do have in common is the dark center. What does this mean? To me it says that darkness is apart of life! As a matter of fact is is the center of our lives. When I meditate I close my eyes and enter the darkness. At first thought you may think this dark world is something to be afraid of. It is more like school. You do not really want to go to school but once you realize the education is making you a wiser child you persist. This is the same for this dark place It makes us wise and aware of the calm nothingness of life as well as the chaos that ensues when we turn off the lights and observe our minds all at work. So the next time you look into your eyes and see your hue, reflect upon your darkness as well for you can not have one without the other. Ohh and one more thing! Biologically speaking that darkness in your eyes is what helps you focus.
