Bravo! Bravo! I just got done watching this movie. I loved it. When I watch movies I am playing a game. I am reflecting the message into real time. What this message of the movie was saying to me was exactly what the title reads. No country for old men. To means it means that the time has come in our world where the old man ways are over and the new is in effect. This movie was well put together across the board. The Coen Brothers really did a nice job on this movie. The cinematography was subtle and amazing, and as far as the screenplay goes it is one of a kind and impeccably written. I have not seen unique plot like this since, heck I dont even know! lol…

At the end of the day the message is to all of us men in this world, we need to grow up and get out of our old ways. We live in a bastard world where man has been holding deep down inside of his heart a sadness. This sadness comes from the lost relationship with our fathers heavenly and earthly. Or at least so we saw it as. The truth is hard to swallow and life is not as easy as it was expected to be to us like when we were young boys.   Many men many men have been molded by that darkness and someway or another used it to become of the main types of man that has walked this earth for so long.  Living in despair not knowing what and who to be.   Becoming the best we knew. Learning the ways of life trough death, daydreaming and, deconstruction.  Weather we are the maniacal killer, the greedy and insecure war vet, or the tired and withered old soul still trying to prove himself to his father (G.W Bush).  They all were products of a victimized bastardized mind state that we are now becoming aware of and thus reflecting this awareness into our films. It is time for the New Man. This is no world for the old ones.

TaoPoohWhat an amazing book. A must read if you love Pooh and Taoism. Every since reading this book I have considered my self a Poohist. Oh might guru Pooh! lol. The book takes another look into the Winnie the Pooh character as well as his friends, Hyped Tigger, Wise Owl, Punctual Rabbit, meek Piglet, and the Depressing Eeyore. The age range can be for children from the ages of 8-100+. Very educational it makes you wonder if the whole story of Pooh and his friends was constructed around this Taoist out look on life. Each character reflecting an aspect of society. With Pooh in the middle simple and innocent like our inner child. He finds out how to get things done in the most peculiar of ways. I remember one time I was watching Pooh and he lost a hammer and he was trying to find it by laying out nails in order to lure it in! hahaha!! I love Pooh.

Also if your are interested in this book you might want to check out “The Te of Piglet” some what of a Sequel yet focused around Piglet and his meekness eventually turning out to fuel his courage. It is a metaphor for America and our up and coming Courageous stance!
