Zentered in Darkness.
Posted by: | CommentsAh! the eyes, our window to the soul. Life is speaking to us within our biology. As we study this very eye we see two distinctly different things. On the outter edge we see a hue or spectrum of color. Full of patterns unique to the individual. All beings have these “windows” and like the trees no two beings have the same exact pattern. One thing we all do have in common is the dark center. What does this mean? To me it says that darkness is apart of life! As a matter of fact is is the center of our lives. When I meditate I close my eyes and enter the darkness. At first thought you may think this dark world is something to be afraid of. It is more like school. You do not really want to go to school but once you realize the education is making you a wiser child you persist. This is the same for this dark place It makes us wise and aware of the calm nothingness of life as well as the chaos that ensues when we turn off the lights and observe our minds all at work. So the next time you look into your eyes and see your hue, reflect upon your darkness as well for you can not have one without the other. Ohh and one more thing! Biologically speaking that darkness in your eyes is what helps you focus.
Gratitude = Grace

The more great full I am the more grace full my day seems to go. It is an odd phenomenon in this age full of ungratefulness and self centered worry. I find myself slipping into this attitude type of worry doubt lack and limitation and like a battle I sit and close my eyes and meditate on how beautiful my life is and always has been. Even using the darkness as a tool for gratitude. When I look back on my life it seems to me that not one thing is out of place. Everything worked out up to this point. What am I worried about, or is it me thats even worried. I come from a conservative background, Ohio to be exact. The nature of a conservative mentality is bent on focusing on holding onto and conserving what little is had. I find this to be a catalyst for ungrateful and worrisome mentality. The battle between praise for life and complaining is being waged on all fronts and so far so good. My mind has stood strong and watched as these old patterns knock at the door of my awareness hoping to get my attention. I watch and learn, then fill in the blanks with action and thoughts that seem to set me right into the flow. It is good to be ungreat full becasue you learn how much it sucks to not be in grace. Amen
Problems and Solutions.

Lately the ugly truth about life and reality has come out over the internet. A lot of this information is true and unsettling. Films like Zeitgeist have sent people in a frrenzy for more of this truth. Life is not some merry fairy tale nor is it some sort of hell bound fuck up. It is somewhere in between, the fantasies and fears must come to some middle ground and calm down enough to see that life is simple. All these problems we have caused and we can fix.
Starting off with the understanding of a relative universe. Living in a relative universe means that you only expearience what is relative or relate able to you. We live within realities that are of our own doing. Seeing this can set us free beyond all of the problems of the past and future. Every since shit has been hitting the fan some have gotten funked up while others have made beautiful gardens. Why is this? Is it because of how each individual relates to what is given to them?
Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others. —Marianne Williamson
In the finite.

In order to be Infinite I must be In the finite. Living fully in this material world. Being comfortable with constant change and cycle of life and death. Something that is hard for my inner child to accept. I want to hold on to life soo bad! I want to be held by life, like a baby fresh from the womb. I now see that growing up is accepting these harsh realities.
Looking beyond that veil of good and evil I have come to see the necessity of this finite world inside of this infinite universe. Both realities sustain one another like two lovers. Both intrigued by the others polar ways turned on and honored to serve the other.
The only comfort zone I have found is in living on the edge of both. Being right there at the tip of the pen as it is written. Staring death and darkness in the face, with life and vitality all around me. Dancing the dance between heaven and earth.
